NOTES

• Carbon monoxide is colourless and odourless. Never rely on smell to determine whether CO is present.
• Natural gas/LPG monitoring and carbon-monoxide monitoring are separate functions and should not be treated as the same measurement.
• %LEL does not represent a percentage of gas by volume; it indicates the measured concentration relative to the Lower Explosive Limit.
• Install and position the monitor only according to the supplied European instructions and local regulations.
• Do not place the unit where airflow is obstructed, or directly beside heavy steam, grease, ventilation outlets or other conditions prohibited by the instructions.
• If an alarm activates, gas levels rise significantly, or anyone experiences symptoms consistent with possible CO exposure, leave the affected area and follow local emergency/gas-safety procedures.
• Do not intentionally expose the sensor to gas to “test” it. Use the specified self-test procedure.
• Replace or service the unit when an end-of-life or sensor-fault warning is shown.
• Do not paint, cover, dismantle or obstruct the sensor openings.
• After a power outage, confirm that the unit has restarted and resumed normal monitoring.
• Temperature and humidity readings are environmental reference measurements and are not medical measurements.
• Follow local law regarding required certified CO alarms. Where regulations require separate primary alarms, this product should be used alongside them unless your exact certified European SKU is explicitly approved for that primary-alarm function.
